Really lucky to be able to work with my sister, Peyton S.!! Despite having a full-time work load in college, she is always crushing it for Mezcla. There is something to be said for working with the people you trust the most. Douglas Bouton told me that his best hires were typically family, close friends, or individuals referred by family or close friends. Couldn't be more true in this case. What do others think about this approach to hiring?

Couldn’t agree more! Way to go Peyton! Brian Tate and I both hired our moms and it’s been the best.

I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to work and learn alongside such an awesome boss, mentor and friend. Mezcla wouldn't be what it is today without your incredible ability to lead. Thank you for taking me along for the ride. Looking forward to continuing to take this thing to the next level. 🚀

Thrilled and thankful to announce the close of our Series A - led by Dream Ventures and Santatera Capital. https://lnkd.in/eeuNfqXZWith that, I also want to introduce two Mezcla advisors - Federico Muyshondt (BODYARMOR CEO) and Steve Platt (BrightFarms CEO). I have been working with Fed and Steve for about 12 months now, and I can confidently say that deciding to bring them on board has been one of the best decisions we have made as a company. I also want to thank our amazing team - Yoga Acharya, Kevin Callanan, Ethan Edmisten, Polina Budilina, and Dan Wilfand.🚀 🚀 🚀 #Mezcla #CPG #foodandbeverage #proteinbars #capitalraise #seriesafunding #bodyarmor #brightfarms

Very thankful to be working with some amazing partners. The other week we had to rush some raw materials to our manufacturing facility in order to run on time. The below people worked extremely hard to make everything come together on a very rushed timeline. Paul Ratz, Heidi Ohren, and Melissa Hayes - thank you so much! Mezcla is grateful to be working with you all!

This year,Mezclahad the opportunity to sponsor Erin Routliffe and Gabby Dabrowksi at the U.S. Open.We were stoked to support Erin and Gabby, but this sponsorship was a different speed for us. We typically concentrate our sales and marketing spend on driving trial, getting as close to the retail point of sale as possible. While this was a departure from our core strategy, we reserve a portion of spend for opportunities that get our team excited (and make financial sense). When we had the chance to back Erin and Gabby, we jumped.Erin and Gabby brought home hardware, WINNING IT ALL as the Women’s U.S. Open Doubles Champs!!!Some biz outcomes below:1. DTC Sessions: Near all-time high on 9/10 - 2nd most web sessions YTD2. Amazon: Top 5 sales day of 2023 on 9/103. The last few weeks have been some of the most amazing ones of my life. I was asked by one of my college teammates to tryout with him last fall for the Israel Lacrosse Association men's national team. I was super busy with Mezcla, and was nowhere near the shape I needed to be in to compete. That said, I decided to tryout for the team in the fall, with the hopes of making the roster and participating in the World Games in June of 2023. That decision to try - was one of the best decisions I have made. I was able to compete in June, and enjoy playing a sport I love, in a competitive setting again. That was amazing. But beyond that, the connection I made with the other guys on the team and with the state of Israel itself is what made this experience so special. Finally, after two weeks OOO, where winning is so binary, I came back to Mezcla with even MORE of a burning desire to win!!
